the winter chills you to the core
and everything's been said before
you're hoping she'll deliver more
add color to the grey
but everywhere you look it's bleak
and no one has the guts to speak
about the mile-wide yellow streak
you all rode in on today
well she's mine
yeah she's mine
and even though her eyes are made of steel
she's fragile porcelain I feel
that force would shatter them
I have to look away
and as we lie in bed I watch
the light that breaks in through the window
"everything in time" she whispers
isn't that a shame
well she's mine...
